All gamers look for different things when it comes to choosing gaming equipment and games to play. Therefore, there is no one size fits all when it comes to choosing a gaming monitor. Most monitors come with a fast response time that in return produces little to no motion blur and lag. This will surely enhance your gaming experience. There are many more features that can further enhance your overall experience, such as the inputs available as well as the refresh rate
Due to a very demanding market, one can find a wide variety of available features that will surely make it very hard for you to choose. Below you will find a list of our recommended gaming monitors that are ideal for players with different needs and budgets.
Samsung Odyssey G7
The Samsung LC32G75TQSNXZA monitor is surely one to look at. Its gaming performance is superb and will surely please most gamers. The monitor is available in two different sizes being either 27 inches or 32 inches with a resolution of 2560 x 1440. Its special features reduced screen tearing and makes it compatible with most graphics cards. The maximum refresh rate is set at 240Hz, whereas the variable refresh rate is at FreeSync. Thanks to this, gaming is always smooth and very responsive. A negative to this monitor is that it has a dimming feature that creates intense blooming around bright objects. However, overall, it still tests as one of the highly-rated gaming monitors.
BenQ EW2780U
You may remember the BenQ EW2780U from when we reviewed it a while back, and whilst it is more focused on entertainment than gaming, it would make a great second or even third monitor for streamers. It’s not that it’s not great for gaming, in fact, it’s a very decent shout if you’re one of the lucky people who managed to snag yourself a PS5 or Xbox Series S/X, but more dedicated gaming monitors would be better if you game on your PC. We’ve copied our summary from our review just below to give you a quick idea of what we thought:
There is no doubt that the EW2780U is a quality built monitor, good to go right out of the box. You’ve no need to fiddle with settings, it has quality in-built speakers to save on desk space, and it comes with a whole host of features that you would struggle to find at a lower price range, although whether you make use of them all is another thing. So many of those features as well are all aimed at viewing comfort but no height-adjustable stand? Missed a trick there BenQ. Still, I don’t think you’d be disappointed if you bought this monitor for anything other than PC gaming.

ACER NITRO
If you prefer a wide viewing angle, then the ACER NITRO XV272U KVBMIIPRZX is definitely the choice for you. This is a great device for co-op gaming. When compared to the previous model, it has a lower refresh rate and lower contrast ratio. However, the viewing angles are much wider. The size of the monitor comes at 27 inch with a resolution of 2560 x 1440. Its ergonomics and image accuracy are out of this world. When it comes to gaming, the motion handling, low input lag and FreeSync support is amazing especially when playing casino games. If you’re a fan of wide viewing angles, this monitor will surely give you the full experience of playing an online casino game at MrCasinova.com.
Gigabyte M32U
The Gigabyte M32U is one of the best gaming monitor around for those looking for 4K resolution. Its large 32-inch screen provides you with more than enough space for you to enjoy your gaming experience. Moreover, you will experience crisp images and text clarity with a resolution of 3840×2160. Its maximum refresh rate is of 144 Hz. Due to the quick response time, the motion is exceptionally smooth with a low input lag.
This is only possible if you always make sure to update the latest firmware. Due to having low contrast ration, this monitor is not ideal for those looking for dark room gaming monitors. Moreover, the HDR experience isn’t as good as expected. Nonetheless, it is still considered as one of the best gaming monitors tested.
Element Gaming 27″ monitor
If you’re on a budget, but you are still looking for a semi-decent gaming monitor, look no further than the Element Gaming monitor. It comes in various sizes, and has had a few improvements along the way since we reviewed it some time ago. But even without its improvements back when we checked it out upon release, it almost seemed too good to be true. To find something like this for a low price was just remarkable. Element Gaming made high-end gaming affordable for everyone.
At the time I was genuinely left asking myself how they have managed to cram so much into such a compact monitor, which at the same time still offers a substantial 27″screen to allow you to enjoy gaming on. The build quality is solid, the design is both practical and aesthetically pleasing on the eye, it offers a QHD display with unbelievable specs, it’s almost like there is nothing this monitor can’t do. And the flaws it had back then, like no VESA mount option, have all been added, so it has only got better, whilst keeping its low price point.
The above gaming monitor models are based on what the market is currently offering and what is considered good enough for you to be able to have the best possible gaming experience. The screen size, technology and different features offered will determine the final price of the monitor.
