A leaked video has given players an early look at what could be one of Battlefield 6’s Season 2 maps, even though EA has pushed the new season back.

Season 2 was originally expected to begin today, January 21, 2026, alongside Battlefield REDSEC. Instead, EA confirmed a delay until mid-February, citing the need for extra polish before the next content drop arrives.

That delay has not stopped leaks from appearing online.

Delayed Battlefield 6 Season 2 springs a leak, pointing to Hagental Airbase

Footage shared on Reddit by user ConsistentFact9170 appears to come from a Season 2 presentation. The short clip centres on Hagental Airbase in Bravia, showing the location under enemy control. The framing makes it clear this airbase is important, strongly pointing to it being added as a new map.

In the video, NATO troops are shown preparing for a large-scale assault. A dramatic voiceover claims the base must be taken back, warning that failure could decide the outcome of the war. It is classic Battlefield storytelling.

Some Reddit users claim Battlefield 6 Season 2 will include a second map, but the leaked trailer focuses only on Hagental. That has led to a mixed response, with several fans expecting more from the reveal.

In the meantime, EA is offering a small peace offering. The Frostfire Bonus Path launches on January 27 with Season 1, featuring XP boosts and cosmetic rewards, including a few free items for all players.
