Xbox has announced big changes to Xbox Game Pass with a new set of plans that bring more value, more games, and better rewards for players. Starting today, Game Pass is split into three levels called Essential, Premium, and Ultimate. Each plan is designed to give players more choice and flexibility, depending on how they like to play.
Xbox Game Pass plans explained: Essential, Premium, and Ultimate

The Essential plan is the entry point and comes at $9.99 per month. It includes online multiplayer, in-game rewards, cloud play, and a library of more than 50 games for both console and PC. Players will also be able to earn rewards points that can give back up to $25 in store value each year.

The Xbox Game Pass Premium plan is priced at $14.99 per month and expands the game library to over 200 titles across console, PC, and cloud. New hits like Diablo IV and Hogwarts Legacy are now included, along with upcoming Xbox-published games within a year of launch. Premium members also get in-game extras for popular titles like League of Legends and Call of Duty: Warzone. Rewards with Xbox is also part of the plan, offering up to $50 in yearly store value.

For players who want the best, the Ultimate plan is now $29.99 per month and comes with the biggest upgrade yet. It includes more than 400 games and over 75 day one releases every year, such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, High on Life 2, and The Outer Worlds 2. Ultimate members also get Fortnite Crew and Ubisoft+ Classics at no extra cost, plus smoother cloud gaming at up to 1440p. Rewards are even better here, with up to $100 in yearly value.

Xbox says that these new plans are all about giving players more choice and making it easier to enjoy games across console, PC, and cloud. With so many games added today and more rewards than before, the new Xbox Game Pass looks like a strong deal for players who want variety, flexibility, and value in one package.
