Hitman 3’s Season of Pride DLC has dropped with a new mission, new weapons, a new suit and promises of more updates to come with an exciting roadmap.

The new Hitman 3 DLC is the second part of the series of content planned for the game based on the seven deadly sins. To go along with the name of the content, players will receive a swish new Narcissus Suit, as well as a powerful sniper rifle and the Proud Swashbuckler sword. There is also an elusive new target to hunt down, The Iconoclast.

However, the most exciting part of the DLC is undoubtedly the new escalation contract mission titled The Pride Profusion. It is set in the beautiful Chinese municipality of Chongqing and features a vast sprawling map with plenty of things to do and nefarious things to get up to, which adds plenty of replayability to the map.

That said, probably the most anticipated feature that drops with Season of Pride is player-created contracts, which become available from early June. In what is effectively Hitman 3’s version of a level editor, players worldwide will be able to create contracts for maps and upload them for anyone to try.

While most of the early will follow the pride them given that players are excited about the new Hitman 3 DLC, the feature is not limited to new content, and they can create contracts for any map that has already been released.

Often player-made content lacks the polish of the carefully constructed contracts from the developer. Still, all contracts will get reviewed by the Hitman team before being released to the public, so quality should not be an issue in this case, and the feature will add hours of fun and new content to the game for fans to enjoy.

Since its initial release in 2000, the Hitman franchise has grown to become one of the biggest and most popular action stealth games ever created. Despite the name of the current title, Hitman 3, it is the eighth game released in the series.

In addition to the game franchise, there have also been two major Hollywood blockbusters based on the series. There is also a television series in development on Hulu, with the script of the pilot episode written by John Wick creator Derek Kolstad.

There were also two spin-off game titles, Hitman Go and Hitman: Sniper, and there is even a Microgaming slot inspired by Agent 47, which is a perfect fit for those who enjoy action gaming that can be found on sites that offer free spins and no deposit bonuses such as Casumo.

The Seven Deadly Sins DLC series is something of a swansong for the Hitman franchise, with the studio behind the game slated to be working on other projects for the foreseeable future. Rumours suggest they are working on a James Bond title and an open-world role-playing game.

As a result, one of the series features is to periodically unlock classic older maps with a new seven deadly sins feel and some new contracts. For example, The Sebastian Principle escalation was made available to players shortly after the launch of the Season of Pride, with the Paris map set to open up to all Hitman players for free at the end of May. And there is still plenty of new content to come – this is just the second of seven planned DLC’s after all – and it isn’t even just Hitman 3 content being added either.

We’re more looking at using existing locations and reimagining them, twisting them. And this time around, we can use the whole trilogy. We can look back at Hitman 2016 maps, Hitman 2 maps—we have all the locations.
