Yunzii has expanded its mechanical keyboard lineup with the launch of the B98 PRO, a new 96 percent layout keyboard that focuses on wireless freedom, deep customisation, and a playful design touch.
The B98 PRO supports three connection modes. Users can choose between Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4 GHz wireless, or a USB-C wired connection. It can pair with up to five devices and works across Windows, Mac, and Android platforms. This setup allows quick switching between different systems without extra effort.
Powering the keyboard is a large 8000mAh battery. According to the company, this battery is built to handle long working hours and extended gaming sessions, reducing the need for frequent charging.
Customisation is one of the key highlights. The keyboard runs on QMK and VIA firmware, giving users full control over key remapping, macros, and multi-layer setups. RGB lighting is also included, offering 16.8 million colour options with south-facing LEDs for better lighting balance and keycap compatibility.
B98 PRO – gasket mount structure
On the hardware side, the B98 PRO uses a gasket mount structure combined with a five-layer internal filling system. This design helps lower vibration and improve typing comfort. The hot-swappable PCB supports both 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical switches, allowing users to change switches easily without soldering. The included switches come pre-lubed, and the stabilisers are factory tuned for a smoother key press. Durable double-shot PBT keycaps are also part of the package.
A unique design element is the dual-style knob. Users can install a 3D silicone cat knob for a fun look or switch to a simple metal knob for a cleaner setup. The knob controls volume by default, but it can be reprogrammed through QMK and VIA.
Other details include a metallic cat logo with an LED battery indicator, adjustable feet for better typing angles, and hidden storage for the 2.4 GHz receiver under the keyboard stand.
With wireless flexibility, strong battery capacity, and wide customisation options, the Yunzii B98 PRO enters the market as a feature-rich option for users looking to upgrade their desk setup.
