The Xbox PC app just got a major update. You can now stream games you own directly to your PC. This includes Xbox console exclusives.
The feature rolled out on July 28. It’s available for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. No downloads needed. Just stream and play.
Before this, streaming worked on consoles, smart TVs, and browsers. Now, the PC app finally supports it too. You don’t need to leave your desk to access your Xbox library.
This update helps PC-only players too. Some games still haven’t launched on PC. With streaming, you can now play them without a console.

Next step for Xbox cloud gaming
There’s more. Microsoft added other features to the app. Your play history now syncs across devices. Start on your Xbox, continue on PC. Saves and progress carry over.
The app also shows a combined library. It includes your purchased games and Game Pass titles. It makes finding games faster and simpler.
These features are out now for Insiders. Anyone can join the Insider program for free.
One last thing, Microsoft Rewards tracking is now better. You’ll see points as you play. It’s built into the app.
This update is a big win for players. And it shows Microsoft is still going all in on cloud gaming.
