Activision has confirmed that Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will go offline on 17 April. The decision follows months of reduced support, with updates and seasonal content already stopped.
The game quietly disappeared from mobile stores back in May 2025. Since then, players have seen fewer changes, so this shutdown was not a complete surprise. Still, it marks the end of a short run for a big-name mobile shooter.

A brief Warzone life
Warzone Mobile launched on 21 March 2024 with strong expectations. It aimed to bring the familiar battle royale feel to phones, but competition and technical issues made growth difficult.
For players staying on mobile, Call of Duty: Mobile remains the main option. The game continues to get fresh seasons, including the recent “Frozen Abyss” update. That season added new rewards, events, and even a crossover with Street Fighter.
Activision thanked fans for their support and said community feedback will shape future updates across the wider series.

For now, mobile players still have a solid alternative, but the closure of Warzone Mobile shows how tough the live-service space can be.
