Shueisha Games and TrueWorld Studios have confirmed that UNYIELDER, their roguelite first-person shooter, will release on September 29 for PC via Steam.

This is not your standard shooter. UNYIELDER blends boss-rush combat, looter-shooter systems, and fast-paced movement gunplay into one chaotic package. Set in Erebus, the ruined capital of Antarctica in 1972, players carve their path through apocalyptic battlegrounds filled with strange weapons, perks, and volatile powers.

The twist is that every run lets you build your own final boss. By scavenging parts from fallen enemies, you can customise the fight’s ultimate challenge. Each combination changes the battle, unlocking new endgame classes, weapons, and secrets. It’s a “BYOBoss” approach that keeps things unpredictable.

The game promises a wild arsenal, from bizarre perks to volatile powers named Rupture, Rhapsody, and Reverie. According to the developers, the idea is to “break the game” – experiment, stack abilities, and embrace the absurdity.

An original soundtrack from Karu backs the chaos, pushing the action with its own explosive energy.

The Steam page is live now, with full release dropping September 29.
