Broken Arms Games is giving players a swing at shaping the perfect fairway with the first open playtest of Under Par Golf Architect, launching June 6 on Steam.
Running from 3 PM UTC on June 6 to 3 PM UTC on June 11, the playtest offers a hands-on look at the upcoming golf club management sim, where the sandbox is green, and the power is in your hands. Sculpt terrain, place obstacles, build clubhouses, and lay out custom courses in a sandbox packed with creative tools.

This isn’t just about whacking balls into the rough—Under Par Golf Architect lets players create an entire golfing empire, from lush putting greens to scenic bunkers, all while tailoring the layout to their own aesthetic and design philosophies.
“This open playtest is a key moment in our development process,” said Yves Hohler, co-founder and creative director at Broken Arms Games. “We’re excited to open the doors to the community and gather feedback on the overall user experience.”


Players can request access directly through the game’s Steam page with no key required, and feedback is welcomed via Discord or the team’s online forms.
