Two Strikes, the stylish 2D fighting game we played at FORMAT Manchester, is finally leaving Early Access on April 25. Developed by Retro Reactor and published by Entalto Publishing, it will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam. Mobile versions for iOS and Android will follow the Crunchyroll Game Vault.

A brutal test of skill

After first hitting Early Access in May 2021, Two Strikes has built a dedicated following with its striking hand-drawn visuals and intense combat. This is a game where every duel is a high-stakes battle—one or two hits can decide the match. You step into the role of a samurai, warrior monk, or outlaw, each with their fighting style and story, and fight for survival in a blood-soaked historical setting.

Two Strikes key features

  • Hand-drawn animation that brings ancient Japan to life.
  • One-hit or two-hit kills make fights intense and strategic.
  • Unique characters, each with their techniques and lore.

Two Strikes - Strike Landed

It’s all about patience, precision, and knowing when to strike. One mistake, and you’re done.
