Saint Seiya Awakening: Knights of the Zodiac’s poster-child, Athena, joins this month’s themed summons; with your chances of Athenas appearance in-game greatly improved until May 6
This month has already seen themed summons for Underworld Shun and Papillon Myu. Today, the SSA: KOTZ official Facebook page released a banner for SS saint Athena; heralding her likely omnipresence over the coming weeks.
Last week saw the in-game release of new expansion sets: Dragon and Treasure Hunter will be available for the next four weeks — with new skins for Poseidon, Sea Dragon Kanon and Scylla lo. There’s a new chapter release every week, with new rewards up for grabs within every new challenge — including rare Cloth.

So, just how difficult are these chapter challenges? In truth, not always hugely tricky. The first few levels are actually a really good test for new players but rookie saints may well struggle to get past level three. From that point onward, players must choose fighters wisely; taking into account the unique skillset of each combatant and weighing that against the strength of the opposition. Those later levels can frustrate but nothing worth having was ever easy — give it your all and let us know how far you get!
Additionally, this month, has seen some important updates to PvP modes. In the Top PvP Competition, registration for audition rounds will now begin on the 1st of each month, ’til the next Sunday (if the 1st is a Sunday, the deadline will be the following Sunday). Audition rounds have changed from manual registration to automatic registration, so all players can take part in the tournament. Elimination rounds will now last a full week and there are limited initial points in the Jamir Championship — players get maximum base points when they get up to Legendary 40 stars.
