CD Projekt RED has confirmed the news about The Witcher IV through joint chief executive officer Michał Nowakowski, who thanked fans on X for voting in the Most Anticipated Game category. He also warned everyone not to expect any new trailers or reveals at this year’s show.

No Witcher IV reveal this year

It may sting, but it lines up with what we already know. Back in March, the studio said The Witcher IV will not launch until 2027. During a recent financial Q&A, Nowakowski repeated that the team will not be ready in 2026 either.

So the next real look at the game will likely be at The Game Awards 2026. Until then, the wait continues.

Meanwhile, this year’s show will still bring new reveals from other studios. Exodus has already confirmed a new trailer, with more announcements expected soon.
