If you’re a fan of classic arcade shooters, here’s some good news: Forever Entertainment and MegaPixel Studio have dropped a demo for The House of the Dead 2: Remake on PC via Steam. This comes as part of Steam Next Fest: February 2025 Edition.
What’s in the House of the Dead 2: Remake demo?
You’ll get to play the first level of the game, and if you’re not keen on facing the undead alone, co-op mode is included. The demo also supports multiple languages, including English, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, and Chinese.

The House of the Dead 2: Remake is a modern reimagining of the beloved rail shooter. You’ll step into the shoes of AMS agents James Taylor and Gary Stewart, sent to investigate a city overrun by monstrous creatures. The situation eerily mirrors the Curien Mansion outbreak from 1998, and it’s up to you to uncover the truth—one bullet at a time.
