The studio behind Atomic Heart, Mundfish, has announced their new multiplayer RPG shooter, The CUBE. Set in the Atomic universe, the game will be available on consoles and PC (Steam), though no release date has been shared yet.
What makes The CUBE stand out?
The CUBE stands out with its unique setting, a giant, levitating cube that constantly rotates. This ever-changing environment creates new combat situations and exploration opportunities you won’t find in other games.

The game offers a rich story and a living world full of characters, varied biomes, and challenging enemies, including powerful bosses. You’ll find plenty to explore, with hidden secrets and quests across vast areas.
Character progression is deep and rewarding, letting you customise your build and play your way. Even if you fail, you won’t lose progress. Combat focuses on strategy, with many weapons, skills, and tough opponents to test your tactics.

A key feature is the Split-Rendering System, a new technology that improves how motion and objects behave in the multiplayer world. It helps the environment flow smoothly and keeps everything in sync during gameplay.

If you enjoyed Atomic Heart or like multiplayer RPG shooters with strong storytelling and unique worlds, The CUBE is worth watching. Stay tuned for more news from Mundfish.
