The Blood of Dawnwalker is still locked in for a 2026 release, and the developers have now said it clearly in a new “Launch Year Special” video.
In the video, Rebel Wolves founder Konrad Tomaszkiewicz appears alongside Global Community Lead Dominika Burza to reflect on the game’s first year since its reveal. The team thanked fans for their response to the cinematic trailer, gameplay showcases, and public demos shown across several events.
The Blood of Dawnwalker – Launch Year Special video
Burza confirmed that The Blood of Dawnwalker will launch in 2026, though a release date has not been shared yet. What is confirmed is a steady flow of updates. The studio plans to reveal more gameplay systems, locations, characters, creatures, and music as development continues. The video also introduced the game’s main musical theme, giving fans a fresh taste of its tone.
Player feedback has already influenced development. Creative Director Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz previously revealed that while directional combat remains, players can also opt for a more traditional action RPG style. Other changes include better integration of active abilities, a radial menu that now slows time instead of freezing it, and separate camera settings for combat and exploration.

Built on Unreal Engine 5, The Blood of Dawnwalker is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox, and it remains one of the most promising RPGs of 2026.
