Bandai Namco and Rebel Wolves have unveiled the cinematic reveal trailer and gameplay teaser for their upcoming dark fantasy action RPG, The Blood of Dawnwalker.
Set in a reimagined 14th-century Europe, the game introduces a gripping world where vampires rise to overthrow feudal lords amidst the chaos of war and the Black Death. Players take on the role of Coen, a young man turned into a Dawnwalker—a being caught between human and vampire existence. With only 30 days and nights, players must decide whether to save Coen’s family or seek revenge on his vampire sire.

According to Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, game director and co-founder of Rebel Wolves, The Blood of Dawnwalker is inspired by classic RPGs but offers a fresh twist with its “narrative sandbox” approach.
“There are multiple ways to save Coen’s family, and there’s no clear line between main and side quests,” Tomaszkiewicz explained. “Time is a resource. Each quest advances the clock, and it’s impossible to complete every story arc before the deadline. This makes every playthrough unique.”
The game’s day-and-night cycle plays a crucial role. Coen’s abilities and story outcomes vary depending on the time of day, forcing players to choose whether to fight for humanity or embrace his vampire powers.
A new chapter in dark fantasy
Developed in Unreal Engine 5, The Blood of Dawnwalker is the first chapter in a brand-new dark fantasy saga. Players can explore the mysterious land of Vale Sangora, deep in the Carpathian Mountains, where vampires seize their chance to claim power.
The cinematic trailer provides a glimpse into Coen’s world, introducing key characters like his sister Lunka and the ruthless vampire lord, Brencis. The story begins two years before the main events of the game, setting the stage for an intense and emotional journey.
