WEMADE MAX and MADNGINE, creators of Night Crows, have announced TAL: The Arcane Lands, a AAA open-world action RPG set to release on consoles and PC in 2027.
Built on Unreal Engine 5, the game is set in a fantasy world inspired by the Joseon Dynasty, now overrun by otherworldly creatures. Players will use weapons, magic, and teamwork in real-time combat alongside companions.
“TAL” references the traditional Korean mask, symbolising transformation and escape from fate. The world is arcane, blending reality and fantasy in a land filled with magic and taboos.
