Star Wars Zero Company, the new turn-based tactics game from Bit Reactor and EA, will finally be revealed this Saturday, April 19, 2025. The game was previously teased but now has an official name and a confirmed reveal date. The showcase will happen during the Star Wars Celebration, with a special one-hour panel starting at 1:30 pm PT / 4:30 pm ET / 9:30 pm BT.

What do we know about Star Wars Zero Company?
Star Wars Zero Company title is one of the last few Star Wars projects still in active development under EA. Earlier this year, the unannounced shooter from Respawn was cancelled, shrinking EA’s Star Wars plans even further. We’re also still waiting on any solid updates for Star Wars Jedi 3, although with Survivor having launched just two years ago, it’s likely that sequel is still a long way off.

As for Star Wars Zero Company, many fans are already comparing it to XCOM, expecting a similar mix of squad-based tactics and strategic decision-making, but in the Star Wars universe. Whether or not those comparisons hold up will become clearer once the gameplay is shown this weekend.
The event will bring together Bit Reactor, EA, and Respawn for the official unveiling, and expectations are high. The game promises to be a fresh take on the franchise, especially after recent releases like Star Wars Outlaws and the Jedi series, which stuck closely to the action-adventure formula.

Meanwhile, the wider Star Wars gaming landscape remains a bit uncertain. Star Wars Eclipse seems to have slipped beyond 2026, and the long-silent Knights of the Old Republic Remake is still MIA.
Saturday’s reveal could finally give fans something new and exciting to look forward to in a galaxy far, far away.
