STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is finally heading to PlayStation. GSC Game World announced that the long-awaited survival shooter will release on PS5 on 20 November 2025, priced at $59.99 (£47).

The reveal comes after last month’s teaser that playfully showed characters in the Zone battling over a PlayStation controller. That clip hinted at the move to Sony’s platform, but now players have a firm date to mark on their calendars.

Physical copy collectors won’t be left out either. Alongside the digital launch, a retail edition will be available for those who prefer the game on disc. For fans wanting more, the Ultimate Habar Pack collector’s edition has also been announced, although it won’t ship until early 2026.

What the studio hasn’t shared yet is how the game will run on PlayStation 5. Details on performance settings, resolution options, or PS5 Pro support are still under wraps. That information is expected closer to release as development continues.

Even without the technical breakdown, this news is a big moment. After years of delays and uncertainty, STALKER 2 is expanding beyond PC and Xbox, opening the door for a new wave of players to step into the irradiated chaos of Chornobyl later this year.
