Silent Hill f, the next entry in the iconic horror series, is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store, as announced by Konami and NeoBards Entertainment. No release date has been revealed yet, but the game promises a chilling new take on psychological horror.
A haunting tale set in 1960s Japan
Set in the quiet mountain town of Ebisugaoka, Silent Hill f follows Shimizu Hinako, a teenager whose world is shattered when a dense fog rolls in, transforming her home into a nightmare. Isolated and hunted by grotesque creatures, she must navigate the twisted paths of her town, solving intricate puzzles and confronting horrors lurking in the shadows.
The game’s narrative is crafted by Ryukishi07, known for his work in psychological horror, while Akira Yamaoka and other composers bring a chilling soundtrack to deepen the atmosphere. The story revolves around themes of doubt, regret, and inescapable choices, forcing players to decide—will Hinako find beauty in the terror or descend into madness?

It’s a fresh take on Silent Hill horror
Silent Hill f takes the series to a Japanese setting, offering a unique blend of psychological horror and traditional folklore. Creature and character designer kera has reimagined the horrors of Silent Hill through a different lens, bringing intricate and unsettling monster designs that feel fresh yet familiar.
The Otherworld, now called the Dark Shrine, takes inspiration from ancient Japanese court music and eerie shrine imagery, composed by Kensuke Inage, dai, and xaki. Fans can expect a fusion of Silent Hill’s signature unease with an aesthetic rooted in Japanese horror.

Silent Hill f – A disturbing but gripping experience
Silent Hill f isn’t shying away from dark and mature themes, tackling topics like gender discrimination, child abuse, bullying, and torture. It aims to deliver a disturbing yet emotionally charged experience, staying true to the series’ psychological depth.

With no confirmed release date, fans will have to wait for more details, but one thing is certain—Silent Hill is back, and it’s more terrifying than ever.
