Rooftops & Alleys, the slick parkour title currently in Early Access, is finally leaping. Developer MLMEDIA has announced the game will hit version 1.0 on June 17, landing not just on PC via Steam, but also on PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch for the first time.

Originally released in Early Access on May 21, 2024, Rooftops & Alleys has been steadily evolving, and the full launch is set to bring a new map, a full progression system, and “much more exciting content,” according to the dev.

Built in Unreal Engine 5 by a solo developer, this game isn’t trying to be a copy of something else. It’s aiming to be the parkour game, with responsive movement, smooth tricking, and a freeform world that lets you move how you want.

Here’s what makes Rooftops & Alleys stand out

  • Freerunning and tricking system with score tracking
  • Single-player and multiplayer modes
  • Time trials, free roam, and trick challenges
  • A pigeon system for marking sessions
  • Multiple maps, dynamic weather, and time of day settings
  • Third- and first-person views, plus slow motion and ragdoll buttons
  • Original soundtrack and full character customisation

On the multiplayer side, you can play up to four players in:

  • TAG mode
  • Capture the FLAG
  • Or just chill in Free-play mode

It plays best with a controller, though keyboard and mouse are supported.

If you’ve been waiting for a parkour game that feels right and gives you space to experiment, Rooftops & Alleys might be the one.
