Kodansha and Team Hayataka are bringing their new single-player 3D action RPG Rise of Rebellion to PC via Steam on 21 April. It’s all about tight melee combat, smart stamina management, and high-stakes boss fights.

Set in a world where dragons have vanished and the earth pulses with energy called Tel, you play as a warrior known as a Tella, fighting to reclaim your lost home. The game leans into timing and precision—you’ll need to break enemy guards, chain attacks, and land brutal finishers using a system called “Wrath of Earth.”
If your stamina runs dry mid-fight, you’re left wide open to punishing blows. But turn the tables with an Art strike at the right moment, and you can deal massive damage yourself. Bosses scattered across the island won’t go down easily, so expect to mix tactics with quick reactions.
