REANIMAL is stepping into the spotlight with a confirmed PC release on 13 February 2026, and THQ Nordic is wasting no time pushing the excitement with a new trailer. Instead of easing players in, this one drops you straight into a grim island where nothing feels safe and every corner has a story waiting to twist.

This time, the focus is on two siblings who refuse to give up on their missing friends. Their home has turned hostile, and the island seems ready to swallow them whole. The aim is simple on paper but harsh in practice: survive, search, and get out before the place breaks them too.

What makes REANIMAL stand out is how much attention the developers have put into tone. The world is small, cramped, and heavy, pulling from the same unsettling style that made Little Nightmares unforgettable. Tarsier Studios leans into messy emotions and strange shapes, building monsters that look familiar in the worst possible way.

The game also gives players choices in how they explore. You can face the island alone or bring a friend along in both local and online co-op. A fixed camera keeps you boxed in, turning even simple rooms into pressure points.

For anyone curious, a playable PC demo is already up. It is a good way to see whether the island pulls you in or sends you running.
