The tactical shooter Ready or Not is finally heading to consoles. VOID Interactive has confirmed that the game will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox on 15 July 2025. Pre-orders are now live, so console players can gear up early.

What is Ready or Not about?
In Ready or Not, you step into the shoes of an elite SWAT team operating in Los Sueños, a city facing a sharp rise in crime. The local police force is stretched thin, and it’s up to your team to take on dangerous missions like defusing bombs, handling hostage situations, and stopping armed suspects before things go out of control.

The game focuses on realism, careful planning, and teamwork. It’s not a run-and-gun shooter—every move counts. Whether you’re going in solo or teaming up with four friends online, you’ll need to think fast and act smarter.
At launch, the console version will include 20 missions, either solo or in co-op. There’s also a free update called Stories from Los Suenos, adding two brand-new missions. This content will launch on the same day for both console and PC players.

Why it’s worth keeping an eye on
If you’ve been craving a slow-paced, high-stakes tactical shooter on console, Ready or Not delivers exactly that. With deep loadout customisation, realistic police gear, and missions that force you to stay alert, it’s a welcome break from fast-action multiplayer shooters.
With full support for both solo and co-op play, and more content already planned, this console release looks solid. The fact that PC players are getting updates alongside console players also shows that VOID Interactive is aiming to keep things fair across platforms.

Secure your copy
Ready or Not is available to pre-order now. If you want those extra weapons and early perks, it’s worth grabbing the Day One or Deluxe Edition. For fans of realistic tactical games, 15 July could be your next big date.
