Ravenswatch is getting two new heroes—Romeo and Juliet—as part of a free update in May. Nacon and Passtech Games announced the addition, which follows the game’s full release in September 2024 and continues its steady expansion.

The duo isn’t just a thematic pairing; they’re designed to be played together. One wields a rapier, while the other carries a firearm, requiring players to coordinate attacks and movement for maximum effectiveness. If one falls, the other follows—making teamwork essential. This dynamic makes them the first characters in Ravenswatch to be fully dependent on co-op play.
The update comes after the major “Nightmares Unleashed” expansion, which introduced new enemies and mechanics. With nearly one million players since Early Access, Ravenswatch continues to grow, offering more content to its dedicated community.

About the game
A top-down roguelike action game, Ravenswatch puts players in the role of corrupted fairy tale heroes battling nightmarish creatures. Whether playing solo or in four-player co-op, the game challenges you to survive waves of enemies, level up, and build the perfect combination of abilities to take down formidable bosses.
With a dark fantasy world inspired by legendary stories, the game features heroes like Little Red Riding Hood (as a lycanthrope), Sun Wukong, and the Snow Queen. The goal? Strengthen your character within a set time limit before facing the final boss—whether you’re ready or not.
