Digital Vortex and Troglobytes Games have announced that RailGods of Hysterra, a cooperative base-building survival game, will launch in Early Access for PC via Steam on April 23, with a full release coming later for PlayStation 5 and PC.

Set in a Lovecraftian nightmare, the game puts you in control of a sentient, flesh-hungry locomotive, the RailGod. Play solo or with up to four friends as you battle cultists and eldritch horrors, manage resources, and expand your train into a mobile fortress. The more you bond with it, the stronger you become, unlocking devastating abilities to fight back against the madness.
Early Access brings improved combat, better inventory management, expanded madness mechanics, and a corrupted RailGod with new interactions. As a Dreamer bound to this monstrous train, you’ll explore a world shattered by the Great Old Ones, scavenging, crafting, and uncovering dark secrets to survive.
With deep customization, strategic combat, and an ever-changing world, RailGods of Hysterra promises a wild ride when Early Access launches on April 23.
