After nearly five years in the making, Wadjet Eye Games has officially released Old Skies, and it’s live right now on Steam, GOG, and Nintendo Switch. The time-travel adventure game follows ChronoZen agent Fia Quinn as she guides seven travellers across seven different historical periods, from the roaring Prohibition era to the chaotic lead-up to 9/11.

You’ll be handling clients with money, motives, and sometimes messy emotional baggage. Some are curious tourists, others have unfinished business in the past, but keeping them safe (and in line with the rules) is your job. Because when you’re moving through time, even a small mistake can cause big problems. And yes, things do go wrong.

Old Skies features high-resolution 1920×1080 pixel art, three times sharper than Unavowed, and includes full voice acting with the studio’s largest cast to date. The music comes from Thomas Regin, who also scored Unavowed and the Blackwell series. Expect puzzles that require a bit of temporal logic, and don’t worry if you get things wrong, death is reversible when time travel’s on your side.

A quick heads-up: if you tried the demo, your save files won’t carry over to the full game. You’ll have to start from scratch, but it’s all part of the journey.

There’s also a 10% launch discount available during the first week, bringing the price down to £12.59 from £13.99 on Steam.

And yes, Old Skies is officially Deck Verified, fully compatible with the Steam Deck, certified, and ready to play from day one.

The game is out now, and the devs—Dave, Ben, and the rest of the team at Wadjet Eye—say it still doesn’t feel real. But time waits for no one. If you’re ready to travel through the decades, Old Skies is waiting.
