FDG Entertainment and Cornfox & Bros. are bringing the Oceanhorn universe back, but this time with a twist. Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon is a pixel-art dungeon crawler launching in Q2 2025 for PC via Steam, iOS, and Android.
Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon announcement trailer
The world is in ruins 200 years after Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm. The White City has sunk, Arcadia is shattered, and all that remains are scattered islands in the Uncharted Sea. Four adventurers- Knight, Huntress, Grandmaster, and Mage- head into the mysterious Chronos Dungeon in search of the Paradigm Hourglass, a legendary relic said to alter history.

The gameplay leans into classic 16-bit arcade-style dungeon crawling, but it’s made for modern players. You can jump in solo and switch between characters or grab up to three friends for couch co-op. It’s designed to be beginner-friendly but still packed with chaos, loot, and strategy.
Each dungeon run feels fresh thanks to randomised modifiers. Your adventurers start with different stats based on their zodiac signs, making every trip into the Chronos Dungeon a little unpredictable. Boss fights are big, items are plenty, and you’ll never play the same floor twice.

Key features
- Four-player couch co-op or solo control of all heroes.
- Randomised dungeons with unique modifiers on each floor.
- Retro 16-bit visuals and soundtrack with a modern polish.
- Four unique classes, all swappable during play.
- Big boss fights and tons of loot.

Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon is shaping up to be a fun, replayable take on dungeon crawling with a pixel-perfect throwback style. Whether you’re in it for the co-op or the lore, there’s plenty to look forward to when it drops next year.
