Coldblood Inc. and Outersloth have just announced Neverway, a horror-infused life sim and action RPG hybrid heading to PC via Steam. There’s no release date yet, but it’s already catching attention thanks to its stunning pixel art—co-created by the artist behind Celeste—and a moody soundtrack from Disasterpeace.

Neverway announcement trailer

You play as Fiona, who quits her job to start a quiet life on a remote island. That peace doesn’t last. She becomes the immortal herald of a dead god, and a nightmare realm called Neverway starts bleeding into her reality. The tension builds slowly, and every decision you make has weight.

Neverway - Character Fiona

Fight, bond, and survive on your terms

You’ll explore a remote island, build bonds with over 10 characters, and unlock combat abilities through friendship or romance. Combat is fast-paced and customisable, with crafted gear and flexible playstyles built for keyboard or controller. Time moves in morning, afternoon, and evening blocks, and you choose how to spend each. Farm, fish, cook, decorate, and survive—but don’t forget your debt. The nightmare world of Neverway is always creeping closer.
