Veewo Games, the Chinese developer behind Neon Abyss, has announced the sequel, Neon Abyss 2. This fast-paced side-scrolling roguelike is set to launch in Early Access on PC via Steam in 2025.

The game takes players deeper into the chaotic world of the Abyss with faster action, higher stakes, and endless possibilities. This cybermyth roguelike promises thrilling run-and-gun gameplay, creative combat styles, and unlimited item combinations.
Key features
Exciting new weapons: Players can choose their combat style, whether it’s using a bat, wielding a saber, attacking with plants, or summoning dragon-like creatures. Each run allows for experimentation with imaginative weapons.
Item synergies: Random items provide unique powers that can be combined for powerful effects. There’s no limit to the number of items you can collect, making every run unpredictable.
Companions, now called Hatchmon: Cute creatures can now be collected, evolved, and used as powerful allies. With plenty of Hatchmon to discover, every run brings fresh surprises.
The Faith System: This new feature gives players options to turn the tides when the Abyss gets tough. Spend Faith on items, recruit more Hatchmon, or take risks in games of chance.
