Sony Interactive Entertainment and Arc System Works are teaming up to bring us MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls, and the first closed beta is locked in. From 5th to 7th September, PlayStation 5 players will get their hands on this 4v4 tag-team fighter.
Registrations are already open on PlayStation.com, so if you’re itching to try it early, now’s the time.
The beta will give you six playable characters to swap between in frantic team battles. Expect online matchmaking, a spectator mode to watch the action, and a training tutorial to sharpen your skills before stepping into the arena.
It’s not the full roster yet, but enough to get a taste of what Arc System Works is cooking up.
MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls is officially launching in 2026 for PlayStation 5, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. No PC beta just yet, but at least PS5 players get the first swing.
A new trailer has also dropped, giving us a flashy look at the game’s tag mechanics, over-the-top combos, and character designs that blend Marvel’s iconic heroes with ArcSys’s signature anime flair. You can watch it below.
