Marvel Rivals showed up at The Game Awards 2025 with a trailer that was all noise and attitude. And it had to be, because NetEase Games used it to confirm that Deadpool is joining the roster on 16 January 2026 with the launch of season 6.

The reveal was pure chaos. Deadpool cracked jokes from start to finish, breaking the fourth wall and taking shots at everything around him. It set the tone for season 6: Night at the Museum, which will get a full breakdown closer to release.
But plenty is happening right now. Season 5.5 is live and adds Rogue to the roster. She joins the team fresh off Gambit’s arrival at the start of season 5, giving X-Men fans even more to play with.
Marvel Rivals Season 5.5 also brings back Jeff’s Winter Splash Festival. This round introduces Jeffland, a holiday map built for a three-way brawl and three unique Jeff builds with their own skills. Winter skins and festive cosmetics round out the update.
The patch also includes tweaks, balances, bug fixes, new emotes, and improvements to the spectator system. The full list sits in the latest Dev Vision video, but the big takeaway is simple. There’s a lot to jump into before Deadpool lands next month.
