Mars Attracts, the upcoming park management sim, has just dropped a playable demo on Steam. Alongside it, a new trailer offers a deeper look at the game’s quirky mechanics—designing chaotic rides, managing demanding Martian visitors, and abducting humans as attractions. The trailer also teases fresh experiments and amenities for players to toy with.

The demo lets players push their abductees to the brink of sanity in the name of Martian science. It also offers a hands-on experience with the game’s management systems and dark humour. Developer Outlier has been engaging fans throughout development, and this demo is another step towards the game’s Early Access launch later this year.

About Mars Attracts

Mars Attracts is a theme park sim where players take control of Martians, building rides, hiring staff, and—most importantly—kidnapping humans from across history to entertain alien guests. It blends deep management mechanics with a retro-futuristic, B-movie aesthetic, drawing inspiration from classics like RollerCoaster Tycoon, Theme Hospital, and Zoo Tycoon.

First revealed at Gamescom 2024, where its debut trailer racked up over a million views, Mars Attracts is set to invade Steam in Early Access later this year.
