Marathon, the sci-fi extraction shooter from Bungie, is officially launching on September 23 for PlayStation 5, Xbox, and PC (Steam). It’s a full premium release with cross-play and cross-save. Before that, a closed alpha test drops on April 23, and you can sign up now via Discord.

Marathon gameplay reveal trailer

In Marathon, you play as a Runner—a cybernetic mercenary on the abandoned colony of Tau Ceti IV, scavenging for loot, tech, and answers. Every run is a gamble: survive and keep what you collect, or die trying. Team up in crews of three, battle rival players and security forces, and build your loadout with implants, gear, and weapons you extract.
