Big news for dark fantasy fans—Knights Peak and Primal Game Studio have officially renamed Mandragora to Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree. It’s not just a name change, though. This could be the start of something much bigger.
Primal Game Studio CEO Zoltan Zsuffa explained the reasoning behind the new title:
“The community has made it clear that this game is more than just another action RPG. Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree encompasses everything players are looking for in a dark fantasy adventure—secrets, dangers, and the constant question of what other threats are lurking in the shadows. This new title is so much more than a name; it’s the beginning of something great.”
Meanwhile, Knights Peak’s VP of publishing Eugenio Vitale hinted at long-term plans for the franchise:
“The new title offers us and Primal Game Studio the opportunity to create future projects within this universe. Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree is the first step into a new fantasy world together with players.”
