MAJJAM is a new online co-op game from Opus Major, a Paris studio formed by former Ubisoft developers. It’s coming to PC via Steam. A playtest is also planned, and you can sign up now on the official site.
The idea behind MAJJAM is simple but fresh. It’s an online adventure where music is the core of everything. You move, fight, and explore using rhythm. No need to know instruments—the game makes sure anyone can jam.
MAJJAM turns music into action
In MAJJAM, music is more than background sound. Players use it to talk, fight enemies, and solve puzzles. Every player can Jam. That means creating music together to make progress.
You won’t need music skills. The game auto-syncs your tunes with others. There’s no lag, no missed beats. It’s made to feel natural and fun, even for beginners.

Kode is the enemy, and silence is the danger
The world of MAJJAM is under threat from Kode. It’s a dark fog that kills music and life. Where it spreads, silence takes over.
Your music fights it back. The more you Jam, the more you push the fog away. New areas open up as you play. The world reacts to your sounds.
Pick your sound, pick your style
Each player has a different musical role. You can play strings, drums, or woodwinds. Each has its own powers and style.
Your Jam ability is your main tool. As you explore, you unlock more musical powers. These help you fight better and change the world. When players jam together, their powers grow stronger. Harmony makes you more powerful.

It’s early, but full of promise
MAJJAM is still in early development, but it sounds bold and original.
A multiplayer game where anyone can play music, shape the world, and fight back against silence? That’s rare.
Sign-ups for the playtest are live. If you’re looking for something different and musical, MAJJAM is worth a look.
