PLAYISM is proud to announce that the leisurely maid cafe adventure game, Maid Cafe on Electric Street, developed by Shanghai-based indie studio Adventurer’s Tavern, has been released on Steam today, 18 November 2024.
To celebrate the launch, the game is available at a 10% discount for the first two weeks of release. Additionally, the game’s soundtrack, featuring all 25 tracks, has also been released on Steam.
But that’s not all—there’s an exciting collaboration event with maidreamin, Japan’s number one maid cafe chain, from 23 November to 8 December 2024!
Collaboration event with maidreamin
From 23 November to 8 December 2024, Maid Cafe on Electric Street will be teaming up with maidreamin, a renowned maid cafe with over 20 branches across Japan and around 700 maids employed. The event will take place at the Nipponbashi Otaroad branch in Osaka and the Akihabara LIVE RESTAURANT Heaven’s Gate branch in Tokyo.
Visitors can order special menu items based on dishes from the game, as well as a variety of coffee-based drinks featured in-game. For each item ordered, customers will receive capsule coins, which can be used to play a capsule machine in the cafe. Exclusive Maid Cafe on Electric Street merchandise will be available as prizes. All customers visiting the participating branches will also receive a special limited edition postcard, so don’t miss out!
Soundtrack now available
The Maid Cafe on Electric Street soundtrack is now available on Steam, featuring the game’s main theme and music that accompanies the story. It also includes tracks from the developer’s previous works, Change and Wuxia Archive, which can be played in-game. With 25 tracks and 40 minutes of music in total, it’s perfect for fans who want to revisit the atmosphere of Electric Street.
A bundle including both the game and the soundtrack is available at a discounted price.

Maid Cafe on Electric Street is a story-focused adventure game where you step into the shoes of a protagonist who, after quitting a toxic job, finds himself at Fuwa Fuwa Cafe—a run-down maid cafe tucked away in a quiet part of Nipponbashi, Osaka.
There, he meets Shiro, a cute maid working at the cafe. Initially agreeing to become the new manager out of convenience, he soon becomes involved with a colourful cast of maids, including Miyu, Favna, and Honoka. As he spends time with them and interacts with the people of Electric Street, both he and the cafe begin to thrive once more.
Players can enjoy daily life at Fuwa Fuwa Cafe, make themselves a cup of coffee, relax, and immerse themselves in a heartwarming story set in the vibrant district of Nipponbashi.
