- A new field guide: Purchased from Sana, this keepsake unlocks the Field Guide page in your Grimoire, allowing you to view detailed information about discoverable ingredients. No more guesswork when foraging—know exactly what you’re picking and how to use it.
- New map details: Colo has been busy crafting new items for you to collect. New field markers automatically identify the locations of collectable plants you’ve discovered, making ingredient hunting a breeze. Plus, new delivery markers, once purchased, will display the locations of characters who have placed orders with you, ensuring your dishes reach their destinations promptly.
- New time-passing mechanic: Waiting for the right time of day? Locate the new Pocket Watch tool and take a seat on one of the many benches—new ones have been added throughout the town of Grat—to quickly pass the time while you wait for the day to progress.
- Improved tutorials: New early-game tutorials and improvements have been added to help you get to grips with the game’s mechanics. And if you ever need a refresher, you can now revisit completed tutorials by selecting “Tutorials” in the Grimoire.
- Other improvements: There’s more! Access storage unit menus while cooking, filter ingredients by rarity, and view possible and current enhancements based on your available cooking tools. In the unlikely event you find yourself out of bounds, a new “Unstuck” button is there to rescue you. Additionally, several bug fixes have been implemented to polish the overall experience.
A magical journey awaits
In Magical Delicacy, you play as Flora, a young witch who travels to the adventurer’s town of Grat to hone her magical skills and fulfil her dream of becoming a full-fledged witch. Setting up shop in this cosy harbour town, she cooks meals and potions for a diverse cast of locals—from charming townsfolk and mysterious travellers to legendary figures and masters of their craft. As she explores Grat, she’ll uncover their stories and learn that there’s more to this town than meets the eye.
Collect an assortment of ingredients from shops, forage throughout the town, or grow them in your garden. Cook up a storm in your upgradeable kitchen using a variety of tools, and deliver your culinary creations to fulfil orders from hungry townsfolk. Traverse the town, gain new abilities, discover secrets, and experience a unique and witchy world—one dish at a time.
