Lynked: Banner of the Spark is finally leaving Early Access and heading to PlayStation 5, Xbox, and PC on May 22. Developer FuzzyBot and publisher Dreamhaven have confirmed the 1.0 version will be priced at $24.99 and will bring a ton of new content, including fresh chapters, enemies, and upgrades.
What’s new in version 1.0?
This update expands Lynked: Banner of the Spark with five new chapters (bringing the total to nine) and 40 missions to wrap up the main campaign. Expect new bots to rescue, upgrades to unlock, and plenty of fast-paced action.
A major highlight is The VoidSpyre, a brand-new biome packed with 18 new enemy types, five bosses, and procedurally generated missions, so no two runs are the same. Players can also catch VoidSpyre gillibots to add to their bot-o-pedia.
On the weapons side, version 1.0 introduces new weapon mods, skins, and the sludge weapon core, adding more depth to combat.
“Buddy Up!” update
The update also includes “Buddy Up!”, a new feature that lets players bring Unibot allies into battle. In single-player, you can take two companions, while co-op allows one additional bot.
There’s also Chef Brot, a new NPC who brings cooking into the game. His kitchen lets players craft 100+ meals to buff Unibot residents and improve battle ranks.
