About Lost Soul Aside
If you’ve been following Lost Soul Aside for a while, you know it’s a fast-paced, visually intense action RPG focused on emotional stakes, high-speed combat, and epic battles across dimensions. You play as Kaser, a resistance fighter who sets off on a mission to save his sister, Louisa, and maybe the whole of humanity, after strange beings called the Voidrax start invading from beyond the stars.
Lost Soul Aside kicks off with loss and longing. Louisa’s gone. Everything’s on the line. But there’s no time to mourn, Kaser has to fight, and he’s not alone. A mysterious dragon-like creature named Arena joins him, making the battles even more explosive.

Meet the heroes and villains
Kaser – A war orphan turned resistance leader, driven by a fierce need to protect his home and rescue his sister. Strong, silent, and grounded in duty.

Arena – A former alien-dragon conqueror turned reluctant ally. Haunted by his past but wise beyond belief, he’s your partner in chaos with a dry wit.

Louisa – The heart of the Lost Soul Aside story. Kind, selfless, and determined to help the people of Slum Harbour—even if it means defying her brother and facing danger.

Aramon – The main baddie. A Voidrax warlord with a god complex, locked away for a thousand years and now ready to wreck the world in his bid for power.

Victor – Honourable leader of the Holy Order. Believes in duty and empire above all else, even when the lines between good and evil start to blur.

Zana – A powerhouse with supernatural abilities and a no-nonsense attitude. She’s cool under pressure and deadly in battle, keeping the resistance sharp.

Combat and gameplay – Fast, flashy, and full of customisation
Here’s what makes Lost Soul Aside such a thrill to play:
- Fight for Everything – Combat is fluid and flashy. You’re free to switch weapons mid-fight, string together devastating combos, and dodge with precision.
- Character Evolution – Shape your playstyle using XP and skill trees. Whether you’re building a glass cannon or a tanky bruiser, the choices are yours.
- Weapon Skills & Customisation – Each weapon has its own special stats and visual upgrades. Mix and match to keep your enemies guessing.
- Arena Power – Your dragon partner adds extra firepower and healing support with unique abilities and ultimate skills.
- Burst Pursuit & Fusion Blast – Time your button presses right and you’ll launch cinematic, high-impact finishers. Build the Fusion Gauge to summon Arena’s claws and unleash hell.
- Survival Skills – Think you’ve mastered dodging and parrying? Think again. Precision is key if you want to make it out alive.

Built for PS5 – Because why hold back?
- Adaptive Triggers – Every swing of Kaser’s blade feels weighty and powerful.
- Haptic Feedback – Feel the clash of metal and impact of blows in your hands.
- Tempest 3D AudioTech – Get lost in dimensional rifts, alien landscapes, and urban ruins with fully spatial sound.
- Ultra High-Speed SSD – No more loading screen breaks—just relentless, cinematic action.
- 4K Graphics – Every battlefield, boss, and backdrop is jaw-droppingly detailed.
Is the delay worth it?
Honestly? All signs say yes. Lost Soul Aside is shaping up to be something special. It’s got the visual flair of Devil May Cry, the heart of Final Fantasy, and a deep, flexible combat system that lets you experiment and evolve.
This delay might sting a little, but with Ultizero Games putting in the extra time to make sure every detail lands, we’re optimistic the result will be worth the wait.

Lost Soul Aside launches on 29 August 2025 for PlayStation 5 and PC. You can wishlist the game now on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
