Bandai Namco has announced a Little Nightmares showcase for June 24, 2025. It will stream at 12 pm PST / 5 pm EST / 8 pm BST.
The announcement came via the official Little Nightmares III X account. It included a short video and the message:
“Something unsettling is coming. It’s closer than you think. Are you ready to face it, little ones?”
No new gameplay details were shared. But this likely points to a big update for Little Nightmares III. The game was delayed last year and still doesn’t have a release date.
A leak on Target (found by Gameranx) listed the release as September 15, 2025. We might find out next week if that’s accurate.

Little Nightmares III is now in Supermassive’s hands
This will be the first game in the series not made by Tarsier Studios. Instead, it’s being developed by Supermassive Games. They’re known for The Dark Pictures Anthology.
So far, early clips suggest it will stay true to the series’ style. But there are some changes. For one, the characters now use weapons. That’s new for Little Nightmares.

It’s unclear how this will alter the game’s tone. It could make things feel more active and intense. The showcase on June 24 might confirm more features. It could also finally give us the release date.
Whatever’s coming, it’s probably dark, weird, and worth watching.
