Bandai Namco and Supermassive Games have dropped a free demo for Little Nightmares III, and it’s available now across every platform.
Little Nightmares III – The Necropolis demo
The demo lets you step into the Necropolis, the game’s opening chapter. It sets the tone right away, dark, unsettling, and filled with the kind of twisted world design the series is known for. You’ll take control of Low and Alone, two friends trying to survive in the Spiral, a land warped by nightmares and delusion.

This time, the series pushes things further with online co-op. You can team up with a friend or play solo with an AI companion. Either way, you’ll need to work together to solve puzzles, dodge traps, and avoid being caught by horrors lurking in the shadows. The highlight of the demo is a terrifying run-in with the Monster Baby, a grotesque creature whose gaze can turn you into stone.
It’s a short slice, about 30 minutes, but it’s enough to showcase the cinematic tension and haunting atmosphere Supermassive are building here. Just keep in mind that your progress won’t carry into the full game.

Little Nightmares III launches on 10 October for PlayStation, Xbox, Switch (including Switch 2), and PC.
