Lexar has made a strong impression at Gamescom 2025, the world’s largest gaming event held from 20 to 24 August. Known for its trusted storage solutions, the company brought a wide range of new products for both gamers and content creators. Visitors were able to explore these products across three different exhibition spaces, including its main stand and, for the first time, a joint stand with SDA.
Lexar showcase NVMe SSDs at Gamescom 2025
At the main Lexar booth in Hall 10.1, Aisle B-071, two new SSDs were presented: the NM990 M.2 2280 PCIe 5.0 NVMe SSD, set for retail stores in the EU, and the ARES PRO M.2 2280 PCIe 5.0 NVMe SSD, which will be available on Amazon. Both models use the latest PCIe 5.0 interface, offering extremely fast load times, higher stability, and smooth performance for gaming and content creation tasks.
The company also introduced its updated desktop memory products. The THOR RGB 2nd Gen DDR5 modules will be available in EU stores, while the THOR Z RGB DDR5 modules will be sold through Amazon. These memory kits come with modern DDR5 technology, improved performance, and dynamic RGB lighting, designed for gamers who want both speed and style.
Alongside these, Lexar’s stand featured activities and interactive games, giving visitors a chance to test the new hardware first-hand.
At the SDA joint stand, the company revealed even more new products. The Lexar PLAY PRO microSD Express card offers ultra-fast speed for gaming and content-heavy applications. Supporting it is the Lexar RW540, a high-speed card reader designed for microSD Express. Another highlight was the Lexar ARMOR SD GOLD, promoted as the world’s first steel-free SD card, built to be robust and durable.
With this strong line-up, Lexar has once again shown why it is a leader in storage innovation. The company’s latest SSDs, DDR5 memory, and durable cards underline its focus on performance, style, and reliability for the growing needs of gamers and creators.
