La Quimera, a sci-fi co-op shooter from Reburn (formerly known as 4A Games Ukraine), is set to launch on PC via Steam later this month. The studio has confirmed a release date of April 25, 2025.
Before the full launch, players eager to get a taste of the action can jump into a 24-hour closed beta taking place this Saturday, April 12. Registration for the beta is open now via the game’s Steam page.
La Quimera gameplay trailer
Set in a dystopian version of Latin America in the year 2064, La Quimera paints a grim but action-packed picture of a world where global systems have crumbled, and private mercenary groups thrive in the chaos. Players will suit up with futuristic exoskeletons and powerful weapons as they tackle the story-driven campaign in three-player co-op.
Reburn has also dropped a new gameplay trailer to go with the announcement, showing off the high-tech gear and intense combat that defines the experience. The game promises a mix of fast-paced shooting, futuristic tech, and a gritty narrative set in a fractured future.

In a statement, Dmytro Lymar, CEO and co-founder of Reburn, reflected on the team’s journey:
“Our Reburn team can’t wait to finally share our hard work and vision for La Quimera on April 25. […] As a development studio operating out of Ukraine, the last several years have been extremely challenging in terms of bringing any artistic creation to life while contending with the realities of war and dramatic shifts in the games industry. Through it all, we stayed focused on what we love: creating immersive, story-driven experiences. Our work wouldn’t be possible without the bravery and sacrifice of those defending Ukraine, and we’re profoundly grateful for their strength and resilience.”
