Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is officially coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on June 5, the same day the new console launches. It’ll cost around £32 ($39.99) and includes new features like mouse and gyro controls, making it one of Capcom’s first games tailored for the system.
Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess Switch 2 trailer
Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is the same stylish action-strategy blend players loved before, just more flexible. You play as Soh, a guardian who must protect the Maiden Yoshiro from creatures called the Seethe. Each day and night brings new threats, so you’ll need to save villagers, build defences, and purify the land while fighting back with swordplay rooted in kagura dance.

What’s new for the Switch 2 version?
- Adventure on the go – Play it in handheld, tabletop, or docked TV mode.
- Control reimagined – Use mouse or gyro input for more precise control.
- A new challenge – The “Otherworldly Venture” mode adds fresh content, and it’s coming as a free update to all platforms, not just Switch 2.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is already out on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. But if you’re picking up a Switch 2 at launch, this might be one of the best ways to experience it.
