Now, a Reddit user with a track record of accurate leaks has reignited the discussion. The same source correctly called the delay of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, which landed in February this year to rave reviews.
The timing makes sense. Players who jumped into the sequel have seen just how much of a leap Warhorse has made. Going back to the first Kingdom Come, while still impressive, highlights its age. Seven years on, the gaps in performance and polish are hard to ignore.
That doesn’t mean the original has lost its magic. It remains one of the most grounded and authentic RPGs of the last decade. But a modern upgrade could be the perfect way to bridge the gap for returning fans and newcomers alike.
