Keychron has launched a new version of its popular low-profile keyboard called the Keychron K3 Max All-Wood Edition. This model brings a fresh and premium feel by using real walnut wood instead of the usual metal or plastic body. The wooden finish gives the keyboard a warm look and a more elegant style, making it stand out on any desk.
The wooden body is not just for looks. It also helps improve typing sound by reducing sharp noise and cutting down the metallic ping often heard on metal keyboards. Wood also feels better to the touch, especially in cold weather, and helps reduce vibrations while typing. Even with this new material, the keyboard stays slim and comfortable to use.
The Keychron K3 Max All-Wood Edition keeps its 75% layout and low-profile design. Its front height is only 10.7 mm and reaches 20.2 mm with keycaps, which is very close to the standard K3 Max. This means users still get a thin and clean keyboard without losing comfort or balance.
For connectivity, this keyboard offers USB-C wired mode, a fast 2.4 GHz wireless option, and Bluetooth 5.2 with support for up to three devices. The keyboard supports hot-swap low-profile switches using the Gateron KS-33 socket. It comes with Keychron Milk POM switches in Linear Red or Tactile Brown. These switches are pre-lubed, dust-protected, and rated for up to 50 million key presses. The keyboard also uses low-profile double-shot PBT keycaps, which resist shine and wear over time.
