Kejora brings hand-drawn storytelling and time-loop mystery to PC and consoles

After nearly five years in development, Kejora is available now on PC and consoles, delivering a beautifully illustrated narrative puzzle adventure built around mystery, memory, and repetition.

Developed by Berangin Creative, Kejora marks the studio’s first original in-house title. Originally conceived as a run-and-gun experience, the project evolved dramatically during development, eventually transforming into a slower, more reflective narrative puzzle game that places story, atmosphere, and character at its core.

The result is a hand-drawn adventure that leans into quiet discovery rather than spectacle, inviting players to unravel its mystery at their own pace.

A village trapped in time

Kejora is set in a peaceful village where life appears ordinary on the surface. Beneath that calm, however, something is deeply wrong. Each day resets, trapping the village — and its inhabitants — in an endless time loop.

When Kejora begins to notice the repetition, she sets out with her friends to uncover the truth behind the loop and the hidden force controlling it. What follows is a journey shaped by environmental storytelling, observation, and small, human moments that slowly reveal a much larger mystery.

Rather than relying on exposition-heavy dialogue, the game encourages players to piece together its narrative through exploration and interaction with the world around them.

Hand-drawn puzzles and companion-driven gameplay

Visually, Kejora stands out thanks to its fully hand-drawn art and animation, giving the world a storybook quality that complements its introspective tone. Every environment feels carefully illustrated, with subtle details that reward players who take the time to look closely.

Gameplay blends environmental platforming puzzles with party-based mechanics. Kejora is joined by two supporting characters, each bringing unique abilities that are required to overcome obstacles and progress. Solving puzzles often means thinking about positioning, timing, and how best to combine each character’s skills.

It’s a structure that reinforces cooperation and problem-solving without overwhelming the player, keeping the focus on flow and discovery rather than difficulty spikes.

For players drawn to hand-drawn art styles, narrative-led experiences, and puzzle adventures that prioritise atmosphere over action, Kejora offers a thoughtful and quietly compelling experience worth stepping into.
