I Hate This Place, an open-world survival horror game based on the hit comic series, is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC in Q4 2025. Skybound Games and Broken Mirror Games, a new publishing label under Bloober Team, are bringing this eerie nightmare to life.

This isometric survival horror game drops players into a twisted, unpredictable world. You’ll play as Elena, navigating an eerie ranch where reality itself is unravelling. Inspired by the award-winning comic, the game mixes psychological horror with supernatural terror.
There’s one golden rule: avoid the Horned Man at all costs.
Survival horror with day and night cycles
Survival won’t be easy. Wild animals, mutated spiders, cultists, and deranged outlaws are all out for blood. Combat isn’t about brute force—it’s about outsmarting enemies and using the environment to your advantage.
Resource management is key. You’ll need to craft tools, manage supplies, and reach shelter before nightfall—because when darkness falls, all hell breaks loose.
A haunting 80s-inspired comic book style
With bold colours and unsettling visuals, I Hate This Place blends retro comic book aesthetics with disturbing horror. Each location is crafted to tell its own eerie tale, blurring the line between reality and nightmare.
Ghosts don’t stay silent here. Every specter has a story, and uncovering their secrets will reveal the true horror at the heart of this place. But some truths are better left buried.
