Hollow Knight: Silksong is not slowing down. Team Cherry has confirmed a brand-new DLC expansion called Sea of Sorrow, and the best part is that it will be completely free. The expansion is set to arrive sometime in 2026.

Released in September 2025, Hollow Knight: Silksong marked the long-awaited return to the bug-filled world fans first fell in love with in 2017. This time, players stepped into the role of Hornet, exploring the unfamiliar land of Pharloom while taking on tougher bosses and faster combat challenges. The wait was long, but the payoff was huge, with the game earning widespread praise and several awards.
